Water Lily

Design and execution of a stainless steel sculpture to work with a garden designers contemporary plantings plan and full garden re-design in Harrogate, Yorkshire.

Having seen work on my website which had sold, the client asked me to design a sculpture based on the forms of a Water Lily. I first created a model in paper which I then transferred into metal. The finisher sculpture was 125cm wide and attached to the base of the pond with a 25mm stainless steel threaded rod on a heavy stainless steel base.
